Creativity is in demand!
OCAD University is Canada’s biggest and oldest art and design university and more than 94% of our grads are employed. That's no different than any other university or college.
Where are we different? Our grads report being happier in their careers (83%) and work in fields that they went to school for (85%)! They are artists, entrepreneurs, game designers, architects, web developers, printmakers, curators, copywriters, advertising directors, app developers and so much more.
Others find ways to apply their creative thinking in fields geared for their contributions. They are city planners, marketers, IT professionals, educators, some are even doctors and lawyers (with amazing art, design and media practices on the side). The skills they learn at OCAD U are transferable to many kinds of careers and education pathways just like any other bachelor’s degree.
Just like any other university, we provide a supportive and fun campus life experience. Our campus includes a medical centre, library, plenty of chill-out space, food court and opportunities for intramural sports and social events.
We’re located in downtown Toronto’s Entertainment District and next to Queen Street West, the Art Gallery of Ontario and beautiful Grange Park. With small class sizes and technical staff in all our shops and studios, our students are more than just a number.
OCAD U has more than 4,500 students and 17 undergraduate programs. Field placement and internship opportunities are available in almost every program.
