English Test Score Minimums for Each EAD Program

English for Art & Design programs are only available to students who have received a conditional offer of admission to OCAD U for the upcoming academic year.

Test results will be considered valid if completed within 24 months of the intended fall (undergraduate) start-date at OCAD U.

Below are the minimum English Language Proficiency test scores required to enter into each English for Art & Design program.

If your English language test scores meet the minimum listed below by June 2025, you are eligible to register for EAD: Bridge to First Year. Students must submit/provide official test scores to the Admissions Office according to the method indicated (depending on language test type).

The recommended date to submit the test scores to be considered for EAD: Bridge to First Year is June 2, at the latest.

Students who successfully complete EAD: Bridge to First Year  will fulfil the English Language Proficiency requirements for admission to OCAD University.

*NOTE:  if your language test scores are a little below the minimum score requirements (that are listed below), please reach out to the ead [at] ocadu.ca (EAD program) to determine if you may be eligible for EAD based on your test scores and situation.
